About 11 years ago, we were just a small group of friends and family with big hearts and maybe too much hot cocoa. We thought, “Hey, let’s adopt a few local families for Christmas and spread some cheer!” — simple, sweet, and a little bit messy in a

About 11 years ago, we were just a small group of friends and family with big hearts and maybe too much hot cocoa. We thought, “Hey, let’s adopt a few local families for Christmas and spread some cheer!” — simple, sweet, and a little bit messy in a wrapping-paper-everywhere kind of way.
But then something happened…
We saw the true need in our community. The families we helped were deeply grateful, and we realized just how many others were quietly struggling. So we kept going. And growing. And growing. (Seriously — like Santa’s waistline after Thanksgiving.)
Year after year, more families were adopted, more elves (a.k.a. volunteers) joined the crew, and the community showed up with more generosity than we could have ever imagined. Without even realizing it, we went from a living-room operation to… wait for it…

(Yes, we even have official paperwork and everything. The elves framed it.)
Today, we’re proud to continue serving local families thanks to this incredible community that keeps the sleigh flying. What started as a couple of friends helping “a few” families has turned into a full-blown holiday mission powered by kindness, cocoa, and occasionally controlled chaos.
And we wouldn’t have it any other way.

We believe every individual — whether a child experiencing foster care, a veteran who has served our country, a senior who is alone, a family facing hardship, or a person without a home — deserves dignity, warmth, and hope.
It is our mission to ensure that every child wakes up to gifts under the tree, food in the fridge, and the unshakable feeling that they are loved. Because the magic of Santa isn’t just about presents — it’s about the belief that someone cares. That kind of magic brings hope, rebuilds spirits, and can truly change lives.
Community Santa Project Inc. is a nonprofit cooperative proudly dedicated to serving local children, families, seniors, veterans, foster youth, and individuals experiencing homelessness within our own community.
